Skullzbone'z Tutorial

=Foot Placement=

First of all i will show u how to do foot placement, i see in some animations there is no foot placement and they are simply make the walking animation and moving the stick figure in the direction of the walk, but if u use the onion skin to help u with foot placement, make you animating walk but at the same time make the foot flat and keep the foot in the exact same place as before, this maked your animations look much better like so:
Spoiler:
Imagestart off like this
then
Spoiler:
Imagemove the foot in the exact same place as before
and you should get something like this
Spoiler:

=Spacing=

Secondly i will show u how to get spacing correctly, using correct spacing is easy, u just have to remember it, basically when u animate a run loop or walk loop u will have to use spacing to keep it in the same speed bassically like this ( | = frame - = pixels of movement) |---|---|---|---| so it is in exact speed

=Easing=

Third, is easing, easing and spacing are connected, like when u are doing an eased run u will have to use easing aswell like |---|--|-|--|---| when he comes up he will be eased back down (Physics). Easing comes in when changes somethings direction it won just space it |---|---|---|---| like so:
Spoiler:
Image
u would ease it so when changing direction |-|--|---|---|--|-| like so:
Spoiler:

=Physics=

Forth, is physics, physics also is connected with easing, physics is basically like bounces and gravity so your animations look more realistic, for example if something has just fallen from a high hieght it will bounce then bounce again but lower and again until it stop or rolls depending on the direction of the bounce also remember to ease when the ball changes it directions from up to down, another example would be when something is sliding down something it would use spacing to keep it at the same speed all of this is physics, u just have to think about what would happen if this happened, here is a physic test a made:
Spoiler:
ImagePiv (gif slow)

=Reactions=

Fifth, we have reactions, reations are something every single person has, so reactions are for example when u punch someone there always is a reaction.
Like when a man punches you in the street you're not going to be just standing there.
you are going to do Ninja blocks, or punching back or both in a row.
When a stick figure punches another one, the other stick figure should have like a spring attached to its gluteous maximus. The stick figure should dive back, and then go forward again like a tiger awaiting its innosent prey. It should either rays a hand up with
plenty of easing, or block the punch and do a ninja punch rebound attack, or do both at once while kicking him in the face. Just yet again think about it what would u do if someone was going to hit u, u would not just sit there would u?

=Blood=

Last but no least, is blood, blood is very important in a gun animation with killing in it, to do blood start off with some line coming off the stickman in the direction u want, then get some thiner lines that are also shorter and add particles where the the lines have just come from in the last frame, then make the lines even thiner and even shorter with less particles from the lest frame going in the same direction that the blood is while putting some blood on the wall if there is one, if not make it go on the floor or something, then make the lines it to particles, if there is a wall then make smaller particles underneath that so it is like a spray. Here is something i made using this technique:
Spoiler:

=Flow=

Sixth, we have flow, flow is also easy and makes this look much better, also this will help with stiffness. You should use this when a man has fallen and stuff like that. No Flow:
Spoiler:
as u see i have used no flow this would act as an ease test. Flow:
Spoiler:
and here i have used flow, as u see there is an eight shape, do not use mine cause i rushed it, create your on eight shape and follow it round then try to do it with out the eight.

If u have any question or comments post them here or pm me

It needs to be better before you get to have it there, IMO.

That tutorial is pretty cheap and the animations are not good.

On that last one It wasn't good and I think you're confused with joint trailing.

Wait, if that is joint trailing then what is flow?

Flow is how the movements seem to go together if you know what i mean.
Like, if it had too big spcing, it wouldn't have flow.

Flow is basically the pace at which the animation is kept, and it stays constant throughout.
