Hey, this is my first animation ever in pivot! I hope you enjoy it. If you don't mind, please rank me, also!

Please ignore the Strend, it was supposed to be Stred. I'll upload a new version of this.

Sorry for the gif rape! If anyone could tell me how to fix it, I would appreciate it.

lolwut, the foot placemant was fine...
Anyways, it's nice, but hard to give constructive feedback because it's so slow, save the gif at a quicker rate, learn this from the tutorial section.

Do you mean by saving it at more fps? Pssst, sorry if this sounds stupid, but what's constructive feedback?

Oh look, I have to keep getting involved, but for a new member, I'll help.
On this site, constructive feed back or Common courtesy, is when someone gives you advice to help you improve, and in turn, you should take a look at their animations and do the same. Its how we all pretty much thrive here. And Neo was wrong, your foot placement was a bit off...Tell me, which pivot are you using? I can tell you what to put as the final save options. If your putting alot of frames in your anim to make it smooth, raise the frame rate (scroll bar above the play/stop buttons) play with it A bit untill your anim is they way it should be. The final save options are different then the frame rate.

ok, constructive feedback, or as we know it constructive criticism, is where we tell you what's wrong in your animation, this way you can improve quickly focusing on the main flaws people tell you.

edit: Eack, people don't always have to return for cc, and stred cc is constructive criticism, and I never ask for it in return. And eack, SHUT UP PLEASE, you're acting like a douche bag,

As if being part of the darkdemon community and helping out is some kind of sacrifice, really eack? start behaving like a proper member, and be nice, because in my opinion, so far you suck at both.

Uncheck merge and save at 6 frame delay for piv 2 - thats like 16.6666667 fps which is close to the default frame rate of pivot 2 which is 17 fps. Changing the fps bar in the animator won't have any effect on the frame rate of the gif when it is saved from pivot 2 (you have to set the frame delay), although in pivot 3 it will. Hope that helps, when you upload an animation at the correct frame rate I'll be happy to tell you what you need to work on to get better (thumbsup)

I don't believe that's a first animation, it is very good for a start though. You have a nice running style, though you should try animating with the stickmans back pushed forward more during the run. The flip looked a bit too fast, maybe you should have added a few more frames during the flip to slow it down, also try making the stickman bend its knees in towards its chest, this makes it look more realistic. I like how you added a bounce effect at the end of that flip, and the camera movement was a nice touch.

good stuff
