I last used Pivot about 4-5 months ago, so I'm starting a new thread in beginners (if you have to you can delete my old thread admins).

I guess it was smooth and shit, but when he goes in for the flip it needs to be eased. Nice movements I guess although I could see ALOT of stiffness. Also you could've made the gunshot a little bit longer and maybe some more effects could have been added, such as the bullet hitting the ground at top speed and making a hole/crack etc.
If you weren't rusty I reckon that animation would've been top stuff. All in all, med-high beginner.

He took off to lightly to go that high and I don't think there would be that much jolt after shooting a pistol but smooth though.

Welcome back.
With your newest animation you really need to work on realisim. you can't shoot at the floor and stay above that ground like that.
You have alot of rust, you need to work on all the basics again.
Nice work though.

wow, that was pretty good, crappy physics, but good, didn't see too much stiffness, only a lill bit, try making more realism next time, anyway, keep up with the good work :D

While the stick figure was in the air, he body was incredibly stiff. The recoil of the gun shouldn't be that strong to push him in the air. There wasn't any effects to the bullet hitting the ground. As Dead said, perhaps you can have some particles in the air. Also, the reaction of the stick figure landing should have been stronger.

All in all, it was pretty decent.

I usually animate because it's fun to make something impossible be visible, in this case a recoil backflip, obviously that couldn't happen in real life which was the point. So you could stop reminding me of what's not possible in real life but what's more appealing to the eye. Like particles.
thanks for CC anyway.

I liked the newest one, the physics were pretty cool. A little bit stiff in the legs though. BTW I think Bert made that one pistol, not Jon
