Hello and welcome to DD, enjoy your stay.

I only see the bottom animation, so I will comment on that.

There needs to be more momentum after the beginning leap, like he needs to keep moving forward, or his torso swaying. The flip seemed alittle to floaty and choppy. Remember, as he jumps it should go slow-quicker-slow- slow- quicker as a whole, you have to arc it all. Then as for the run, make it seem less "Poppy" His head should stay in almost the same place the whole time.

Seeing as how there are very few frames and almost now easing in a run, the poses mean everything.

None the less, if you keep working at it, you should able to recreate this animations and perfect it's flaws.

Thanks for the CC, lethal, i'll work on the animations and i'll do everything to fix my bad, i would give you courtz`, but i can't find your thread .Thank you ! :) .

Extremely shakey and horrible easing- if any. Head on down to the tutorial section and look at some basics. Easing and smoothing is the basis for any good looking animation, you could have a guy spazzing out in mid-air but as long as it's smooth, it's sexy.

With your scythe animation- you have to remember that it's a heavy scythe. its centre of gravity is away from your stick. Raising it's gonna be slow, it'll start to get faster over your head and then it'll slam down infront of you. Swinging something THAT large like how you animated it means that you just broke a few rules of gravity, son. And the end of that flip- does he just go *poof*, teleporting from being in the air to both feet on the ground? one foot lands first- even if there's just a few frames inbetween, it'll look more realistic. And if he's gonna land, remember his weight. he's gonna shift downards further than that unless he's made of feathers and clouds.

The second animation- goddamn, that run. No. When someone runs, they thrust themselves forward, they don't act like michael. j. fox in a hurricane. That's something you should definately look up a tutorial on.

Low beginner overall. You got a ways to go, matey.

There are several problems with your animations.
First of all try to use easing in your animations - that is move joints on stick slower first and get faster as every next frame. Also try to move every joint and try to do it in one direction.
Make more animations dude and you will get better. Practice is everything ;)

Hi guys, i decided to work on my mistakes, and i just finished a kick :) .I worked on the easing, foot placement and shakyness :) .
Here is the final result:

The easing has got better since your original animations, however it could still be improved. Also, you may want to focus on the arms during the kick because they flail during the kick. I like the ground shaking affect, but you should make it shake when he kicks only, not when his foot leaves the ground. Watch some tutorials, such as Darren's Tut. or a figthing tutorial.

My shirt smells of Coal smoke and it is a lovely smell indeed.

What other "train" smells can one enjoy once you have gone home??
