Not too bad dude.

The walk at the beginning was decent, but when he turned his head, it looked a bit off because of the random discolored blotch that popped up lol. Then, when it showed the other guy, his gun was just...too big, which made that part look awkward aswell. The next part where it showed him running needs alot of work too, because the spacing and poses on that run are all off, you need to use less frames in the run loop, and just try to loosen up all your limbs because they looked stiff. Everything afterwards was decent though.

Overall, just look at some good tutorials and work on your movements, you're around Medium Beginner, keep up the good work.

Thanks for your constructive criticisms! That patch is to cover up his eye if you know what I mean! It looks exactly the same colour in pivot though! =[ All in all, the whole thing took about a day.

Well, that was pretty interesting! A couple of things could be better though, here's what I think would make it look a bit better:

The run seemed sort of slow. When you're animating a move, think of how fast it happens in real life and try to get close to that speed.

Also, the color scheme held pretty "hard" colors. Meaning they weren't too easy on the eye. For example, whenever you get a green color, don't use the complete green, but pick a color that's a bit more towards blue or yellow. Not too much, but a bit looks friendlier to the eye. Feel free to drop me a PM if you want a bit of a more in-depth explanation on color schemes :).

Also, that was a simple handgun, it couldn't fire that fast. But that's nothing too special :p.

I guess that's it for now. I said earlier you could drop me a PM for the color schemes, but actually feel free to PM me if you need help with anything at all or just want some more CC whenever you've updated again! But for now, g'luck animating!

Well I think that you have a decent style to say the least but it has its flaws that you should work on.

The spacing you have, though interesting, it tends to be a bit too floaty at times like the run he did in that first animation.I think that the main reason that it seems off is because of the poses and stiffness in the animations. The second animation would be proof of that.I honestly found that the spacing was pretty unique but the poses were either too awkward or too stiff and so it tended to float a lot more than it should.

What I recommend is that you experiment more with moving the body parts of the stick more in each frame to prevent it from looking as though its stuck in one space or pose for too long. This right here could help you improve and get intermediates because with most intermediates and veterans they have very unique spacing stlyes but their poses make up for that.

Just work on your poses and stiffness and you should improve a bit. :)

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but is it really low beginner? There are many who are worse who have been rated really high (Again, I'm not trying to be a dick or superior or anything). Fills are pretty hard and the second one is quite smooth and all. On the other hand, you are probably right, it may just be me watching it to many times!=]. I would have thought about medium beg.

Edit: The first vote was low beg. the rest are about right! I hope you like them!

I can see your foot placement's pretty shaky, you might want to create a single, static stick of thickness 0 and use the origin dot to align your feet to. I do that, and it works like a charm.
Your stuff's pretty smooth and is eased well, which is great, and you use effects pretty well. In the newest animation, though, I see three problems. When the person turns around, you can see the patch of miscoloured green which was used to hide the eye, also when the person shoots the gun the recoil should affect his whole body- even if just a little. Finally, the run you did looked a bit... goofy, it was quite unrealistic.

And you can keep the animation that was based off mine, I think it looks better anyway.

Med beginner.

Med Beg.

Some of your poses are a bit off and some stuff is a bit shaky. I noticed too that when you make runs you keep the back and head stiff. Fix that and you should be well on your way to High beg. (thumbsup)

Wow, I really enjoyed those.
Being a low beginner my CC may not be too helpful, specially after the others already said everything I noticed. Lol, but anyway. Just as they mentioned, work on yo foot placement boi!
There was a couple scenes where i noticed the easing was slightly off..but other then those things the whole aspect of your animations are great(:

You're doing good, Static! What I suggest is maybe experimenting with just movements in an animation, but keep in mind you don't have to try anything strange or difficult (only common movements that you like to use a lot). Just try to play around with the poses of the figure in each frame until the move you're trying to do looks good. Save that animation as reference for when you try to make bigger projects with the same move(s).

Your physics also need a bit of work.. try imagining what each figure would weigh and incorporate that in to the way the figures are animated.

I hope my comment was helpful. :)
