There's way more, but those are just off the top of my head...

This is a bit mixed, but I like to take things from nearly every genre. People give funny looks when I bump 2pac after Sinatra or Outkast after Pavarotti. Anyway, links are to some of my favorite songs from each artist.
If you don't know the guy on the other side of the world, love him anyway because he's just like you. He has the same dreams, the same hopes and fears. It's one world, pal. We're all neighbors.

Reign of Kindo Minus the Bear The Sounds of Animals Fighting
aaand
Circa Survive who, might I add, just came out with their new self released album, "Violent Waves". The sheer amount of ambience and emotion is complimented intelligently by the psychedelic guitar riffs and passionate screams from the iconic Anthony Green.
Here's a couple of their songs. This first one comes from the new album itself.
Note that this isn't their usual style of playing, but they love to experiment with different sounds, which IMO they did a fantastic job.
This next song is more of what you'll hear.
Very talented band that have yet to disappoint me.

I'm really surprised someone would mention NOFX. I fucking love NOFX and their work.
