Lyrically, at times, he's boring and generic and it seems like he was trying to sound like Kanye but some parts were cool.

I was surprised when he dropped the save by the bell bit and the line where he used enemies and memories because I've used both of those in raps I've written, Lol.

I wonder how long Kanye took to write that for him.
You can just tell by the speed, his expressions, and his movements that this was memorized.
He's in a studio for shit's sake. Also, how would the music fit with his rhymes perfectly? (only if the music was added after he "rapped")

I can't tell if you're joking or not. You saw he was wearing headphones, yes? The beat was being played through those headphones and he was rapping in time to it.

Im sorry, but I personnaly thought that was awful, but then again I don't really like rap even though i thought most rap is better than this. At least he is better than lil' wayne.

He basically stole the same rhyme scheme and general lyricism of "Otis" from both Kanye and Jay-Z while not displaying anything interesting. I can believe and probably argue, if I wanted to, to show how those lyrics were pre-determined -- why would he want to flub if he wished to display something to his wide fanbase?

I can suppose that, if given the same challenge of free-styling, given an unfamiliar beat, and told to display something unusual or interesting, he could not accomplish the feat. I am in no way a Justin Bieber hater, but I generally believe he could not display the qualities of a fantastic, original lyricist -- which, in turn, is not what he intends to do. I would just recommend staying out of an MCing Hip-Hop domain. (Plus, I hate shit like this, but that's totally subjective)
