Whenever I'm on the computer I'm normally doing something, not looking at my desktop. I have time in the bottom right and if I'm that desperate to see my CPU usage or how much space is left on my harddrive, I'll open up hwmonitor or my computer respectively.

It's a nifty little program if you want to sit and look at your pretty desktop all day though :P

I can't stand massive rainmeter frames and shit anymore, used to have all different kinds of shit on my desk which i never actually checked, a simple bar with plain text displaying some system stats is more than enough for me.

Also Desktop Coral is a pretty nifty program as it just gives you some free space on your desktop which cant be overlapped by any window, so I have my status-bar always in sight.
