Me and my friend started a facebook group called "The Music Exchange" back in December, and does it violate the rule against advertisement to post a link to it in the media section? It's just a place to discuss music, and promote your own musical endeavors. We had delete a lot of members that were causing problems, and we're in need of new ones. Some from other countries besides the U.S. would be nice, too.

Yes. The correct place to post something of that nature would be the web-dev section, but considering it's not your website you can't post it. Just put a link in your signature or something; we don't need DD filled up with links to things as petty as facebook groups.
