I reckon it's just a coincedence. You could be thinking about an apple while walking along casually, then it happens again the next day and you're all like "omg deja vú". : O

I agree with Baha. Most of it is coincidence. A recollection of a previous happening which was similar.
However...
I have had certain instences in which I had Deja Vous and been able to finish the person's next sentence which they haven't said before. Under circumstances like there I don't know what that could be.
=Those inflatable globes are dangerous, sent several people to hospital with one. Just another proof that RE is not only wrong, but deadly!

Sometimes when I feel like I'm experiencing Deja Vu, it's not just an instantaneous thing. For a short period (like 5 seconds) of time everything that occurs I recognize, and I know that some of those circumstances have not occured before. Anyone else have that sometimes? Deja Vu is one thing that I do believe is somehow different from other things. Maybe like a sixth sense?

I agree completely, happens to me an abnormally amount of times... it scares me sometimes...

one time in 6th grade I drew something that was a huge deja vu, like I knew that I drew it, but I haver had the idea, or anything else of the kind, ever... that was so scary...

this might sound a bit weird but i think the brain is in control of its self and dejavous is just your brain seeing somthing and remembering it, i mean its like your memory , you arent thinking about it all the time but you can still remember alot of stuff and i think dejavous is just your brain remembering somthing that you saw but didn't really pay much attention to and thaen you see it again and your brain remembers it but you don't

SAME HERE! I've also heard that deja vus happen because the brain pauses and you just seem stuck in a thought which u think has happened again! Well i believe that would sound normal but is it? Is it the sixth sense or smth?

i dont think its a coincedence because i bought the game bully the day it came out and i was playing it when my friends came over. I had deja vu that i was on the same exact screen (a grade screen) before. its wierd.

I get deja vu a lot...

one of my teachers gave an explanation that sounded quite possible...

every night...you dream... what some people do not know is that you have thousands of dreams every night. A dream that seems like a lifetime is really only about 30 seconds long. So since you have so many dreams of so many things that have happened or that you just... sorry I do not know how to word what it is that I am trying to say. he said that you sometimes dream about something that happens. dreams are possibilities of things.

this is just my teacher's opinion... not all of it has been scientifically proven...'cept for the fact that you have hundreds to thousands of dreams per night...which I think is really cool.
