So guys, i wan't to here your opinion on whether or not DD should have a Facebook fan page or not. I just thought it would be cool 'cause the only pivot/animating facebook pages are a spam pit for noobs and all the animations are shit. Hopefully this wont be locked/sent to spam pit but I thought it would be a fair debate.

I don't know about that.
A lot of people would actually be bashed on forever if their friends saw them as fans of DD.

Also, didn't Crain make one of these DD facebook pages before? Or was that pivot?

I wouldn't mind there being a DD facebook fan page, or even group.
DD is more than just an animation site anyway, a lot of members don't actually use pivot. Most come on to talk and the rest use Flash/Art.
I think it'd be great. However it'd been to be advertised so it'd be better if a Moderator or Admin made one.

i agree with madness, if one is made it should be made by an admin and as for embarrassing yourself because you join the fan club, if your embarrassed then you should leave DD,noobs....

good point, thats why this is a debate, my answer would be that it can be a page/group/fan club thing that isn't just about people posting lame pivots(see top)

Surely only people on DD would become a fan? Why not just get to know people on DD? Someone made a Pivot group or something a while ago and it's barely ever used.
