ok,like I told on skype,this animation was really good,if you could make it long with that quality you'd easily get elites. But lazyness always talk louder to you.

Now that being said... holy shit man, those effects were awesome, also those movements. I love when people give some time between the movements, just not rushing like hell. So yeah, that was an enjoyable animation.

Am I the only one simply thinking the standards for getting Elite should be heightened?
Also, I think you miss something in movements. Everything's nice, but honestly, if a beginner would upload those combos I would hardly rank it intermediate. Sorry if this sounds like flaming, but that's how I look at it. If you want, I'll sum up the errors I spotted having it at that level for me.
Your effects and other stuff though, is top notch. Loved how the box came out of the ground and such, also cool to see you try emotion.
G'luck animating in the future!

Mate i completely agree, i had this discussion with someone the other day, Kellawgs i think, i was saying if Olixflix uploaded a veteran quality animation, people would be raving saying OH GIRBOT DUDE WE NEED A NEW RANK, but if an intermediate uploaded the same animation, people would just say, dude work on your spacing your nearly at vets.
It annoys me to be quite fair, like anything an elite posts, noone will criticise much they'll just praise.
Anyways, thats how it's going to stay i feel.

Even though I agree that elite standards should be higher as well, Olix is not a good example. He simply is the best animator on this forum. His big animations are always jaw dropping, and I think that is more important than movements.
for example, that feel when you watch the newest DDC and you laugh at how sick some anims are, that's the moments when standards should rise.

I was just using Olix as an example because he is the best, and i was saying if he posted an animation that was intermediate level even, he'd get such mad praise for it.

People would like the animation, and would agree upon the fact that he's still elite. But I don't think people would actually rate the animation elites just because Olix made it.
