Well Adam, All I have to say is: Thank you.

DD is one of the best communities I have ever been a part of, one of the few places I actually feel welcome. Thank you for creating and maintaining this place, it wont be the same without you at the helm.

Well this is shocking and really kinda weird. I haven't been back for a little bit because I forgot my password (don't ask >_>), but this is sad.

Will miss you Adam, you are a fantastic webmaster and a decent guy. :)
Good luck with the move! Damn, it's so weird that we're all growing up. When this forum was young, I remember feeling as though I'd never grow up and have the pressures of life thrust upon me. But how wrong I was...

I've been on this forum/Droidz for almost 4 years. I joined when I was about 10, and now I'm 14 and I'm heading to high school. This community has definitely changed me for the better, and I'm sad to see you go, Adam.

Damn, I never would have seen that one coming. I remember back, way back when I first started getting heavily into the pivot community in 2007-2008. I may not be the oldest member of the DD community, but sometimes it's still kinda weird to think that I've really been around the site for two and a half years now. Even so, though, after really looking at it, the site has changed me in my own way as well, more than likely for the better.

Really sucks to see you go Adam, after you've stuck around for a whole seven years I only hope the rest of the staff can live up to your name.

I know everyone is just going to dismiss this as me being a 'troll' but lol at the fact that adam barely mentions the contribution of VIP/normal members once and mainly talks about the work staff has done as though that's what made the site good and not the community as a whole

and then everyone makes really gay posts about how much they owe to him and how much their lives have changed for the better

I like dd and it's cool that adam made it and all but this whole thread is ridiculous

Well certainly some posts are gay and fake, but most of us actually feel the way we posted. Sorry if it offends you.

I think it's pretty obvious that the majority of people know the VIP contributations help the site, but they certainly do not cover the cost of running the forum on a monthly basis. My post covered everyone fairly, staff members really do deserve some highlighted recognition because without their free time being donated constantly, I simply couldn't run the site, and the forum would result in chaos. My post was intended to be short, direct, and more importantly straight to the point.

You're free to interprete it however you want, but don't start trying to skew its intended meaning.
