I'd like effects like Bolteau, Hbomb or Vagic use. I always love their effects and want to become just as good as them at effects.

Any effects are appreciated. But please, make sure they're a bit good. :L

Certain effects needed mainly:

■ Fire.
■ Shines.
■ Water.
■ Darkness stuff.

If you want to make it to their level of effects, you must start trying to replicate them yourself--not use the same sticks. It's much more worthwhile; it'll help you with stick-making and understanding the dynamics of animating those effects. Give it a shot!

I have tried making my own effects but i'm just to lazy. Well, ATM anyways. I have no motivation to make them :L. I would make them myself otherwise.

Then learn to do it. It is fun when you know how it works. Really there are programs what can help you with stuff like that. Like making your window transparent so you can edit the effects properly. I use Glass2k sometimes.

I use Glass2k to trace stks I made in the past with a new base. I might try that. Thanks Blade :3.

huh.. u have to play with the figures, form or drawn them, add to that a little bit of easing to look cool i using glass2k sometimes when i doing trails for exemple, or partices etc but dont rotoscope effects from other animations.

srry for my "crazy" english but i think u know what i mean

I may have a good fire effect in the works as we speak, if it's successful I'd be happy to share the piv, there are a few key sticks that make the body of the flame but there are also a lot of random ones and particles which I used as well which you may be better off making yourself. You should try making it yourself though, personally this is the first effect I have ever made and its actually not as hard as I thought it would be to get it looking decent.

It's not that I find it hard to make effects. It's just they're time consuming, and i'm not exactly the most patient person ever. But yeah, i'll give it a go. I'm sure electricity and speed aren't that hard wink)

Well I uploaded the piv of my fire effect thing on my thread, but as I said theres a heap of other small sticks used but there are a couple of main flame body sticks, making some little particle sticks to go with them could probably make it work :)
