I figured after nearly 2 months I should an animation. I did a part in the Pass it on Collaberation, but nothing on my own, so, here is a shit kick combo thing. I'll hopefully come up with something soon thats worth something me, lol.. but for now, rate how you like, I know this is no where near what I could archieve.

Me and Skype did a joint, or at least started.. but then he quit pivot :'(.. RIP Skypes pivot days (he'll be back, dont worry.).. so here it is.. I start, then skype, then me, then skype, then me. You'll see the difference in styles ;P

Tried out smoke.. D:.. I like it, apart from the section in the middle where i made the smoke expand way to fast.. messed it all up.. but yeah.. comments?

((I'm aware also that the pin had shityy physics when it hit the ground. lol))

Just a blood test really that I did on holiday.. nothing special. Saw the PP was blood so I posted it there, but I may as well post it here too. Enjoy.

DDC7, failed apparently. :P. Nar, I like it up till abit after the wall break. Should get me moved down to Inter hopefully. Anyways, Comments?

Just animating skating basically.. was doing it for practise for my DDC, but I'm kinda bored of it now lol.. so yah.. not much to say.
Credit to whoever made the skatepack, I did not make them.

Just a shortish preview of my DDC7 entry. I made all the sticks and so on, 48 frames atm.. I was busy recently which is why I'm behind :P.. If this preview is too long, then please remove it. But yeah. If anyone has any CC please tell me so I can change it asap. enjoy.

Sir Elmo gave me so tips on blood.. well, he just told me to have it in for like 10 frames, which I thought was crazy, without the double framing its 9 frames I think. Anyway yeah, I'm happy with this one.. I need to do other stuff from my DDC :\

Image

I just opened up Pivot to animate another guy I made ages ago. So I made a cool double sided spear, just moved him abit to get used to it. I then added in another guy for him to stab. So stabby he goes, I tried a blood style I did once before.. and then made a half explosion. It doesnt finish because I didn't know how to. :P. Enjoy, and comments will be returned.

I opened up pivot to start on a mini joint with Plan B, I was looking for a decent stick to use when I came across this one I made a while back. So I thought I'd do a simple kick like I always seem to end up doing, however I came across doing this cool spinning jumping slow mo kick instead, so I'm happy. :) Comments?.. I return with Mahosive comments, cause I'm so nice.

Image

I've always wanted to do the whole "hard" loading of a gun and shooting.. I dont think it even makes sense after talking to Plan B about it, but ah well, still looks cool. Okay, well, the animation I really like it, except for the end guy when he falls, so I'd prefer if you didnt comment on him, I know it was shitty. But comments please? :\

Well, Im back into pivot now that school is over, so this time Im gonna keep my thread alive. I had a play around on it tonight, and I will be making some more animations soon. Here is what I came up with.

very nice ani Spaz for a 7 month rust.
Well, the animation was very smooth and
all, but i think it should've had some
fighting or something. It just looked
like a parkour. When he came up, from the fall, it
looked sorta uneased. Maybe before it said
back, it could of said, "Spaz is...back!!"
just a few ideas. High beginner-Borderline inter

Wow, your animations are really good. I love how they have a realistic feel to them. I can't really spot much wrong about it, except some of the foot placement was off.
I really can't rate it though due to it's shortness. I remember you animating. Were you in inters before? I really can't remember, well welcome back to animating, and I hope you get moved up soon. That is at least borderline, nice job.

It's nice to see someone back into pivot ;D
Well if thats 7 MONTHS of rust, i'd say it didn't really effect you.

Since you have one animation i'll help you with the flaws.
First off when he dropped the arms were stiff and the dropping wasn't eased TOO well.

when he landed same thing, stiff and a little uneased.

When the floor fell, that was your best part (lol) because the floor moved smoothly and so was the running and the stk.
Make more pls :D
I would consider you High-Beg for 7 months worth of rust ;D

Wow 7 month rust and you're still great. That was nice. Really smooth and shizzle. Although it did kinda lack easing when he stood up. But besides that it is basicly faultless. I'd say about boarderline inters but when are unrusted probably inters cheesygrin)

It was pretty nice, the stick moved well and all, but it seemed a bit stiff when he bent, I suggere you to actually practise and animate more, in case of rustyness its pretty much the only thing to do. You did the running pretty well, but the landing didnt show enough power in my opinion. Just try to get the basic things down before making complicated anims, I personnaly tried one time after a pause of 4 weeks and failed. But hey, its very good for a 7 month break, keep it up mate.

Hey, you finished the animation :P

I love it, it's so smooth, and smooth is probably my biggest fetish. that's right, it makes me hot.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the run, I really don't know why, lol. When he landed from the hanging spot onto his knees, I would have added a tremor, which would show more power in the drop. When I think of somebody falling on their knees from that high, it looks painful, haha. I really can't criticize much of the animation, it's too short and nothing really happens. It's really nice though, and I hope you continue animating <3

Pretty cool, but I'm going to be a dick when I say it was really stupid when it said "back?" in your animation like you were some god and everyone missed you.

Thanks all for the comments, even you kickass. Most of you were saying about the standing up being un-eased. I agree, it looks odd when I was doing it and replayed it, I kept trying to edit it but it always looks odd, but I know why now. With the fall, I didn't want it to look too powerful because it didnt seem all that high up, not enough for a huge tremour, but I know what you mean, and I'll be sure to do that in the next animation I make, which why be using that stick >_<. I disliked the running too brad, I was suprised most people said they liked it.. but Im not complaining.

@kickass, It was more of a question to myself than to everyone, and its just something extra to add in so the animations longer, ect. (I was "Borderline Vets", so I'm wouldn't think I was a God, but I was decent for myself.)

Thanks for all the comments guys, I've returned the first 2 courtesys, but that was last night, I've gotta get ready for my exam so I'll do them all when I get back. ;D

Ive never seen your animations before so I would'nt know how rusty you are. The movements were good in your animation but there was'nt enough movement. I would'nt say anything is stiff exept on the land, the knees were bent before the stick landed which looked quite silly....Anyway, I liked it. Can't wait to see more from you. Med-High beginner...

Wow. Haven't seen your animations before you left, but you're pretty good. Your animation is smooth and looks extremely good. The physics were a little off, there were a few cases of slow falling (falling too slowly, kinda obvious, no?), and I noticed his legs bent before he hit the ground, which was a little strange, because normally gravity would be pulling its legs down, so it would keep them downstreched until impact with the ground. Your easing and movements however, and exceptionally good. I loved how smooth and fluent it was. For 7 months of rust, this is a good comeback.
High beginner at least.

Pretty awsome animations for 7 month rust.
I can see quite abit of stiffness in the arms
and legs when he lands on the ground. I cant really rate you until I see more
but if you made somethink with 300-400 frames I would think you are Inter worthy again, Awsome job Spaz wink)

I liked it. I remember you lol, i thought you were vets though.

Anyway. I dont really have much to say about the animation. I thought it was more or less flawless apart from a bit of foot mis-placement and some jittery movements. You should be moved back up in no time.

Wow sharp, med-high beginner?
That's just unfair.

It was extremely smooth and the movements were great, I love the camera angles and everything flowed well, very realistic too. I seriously can't find something to criticise. Well done man, not as good as you used to be, but still ruddy awesome, you'll get back even more of your funkyness with practise, keep it up.
