There is a five day time period between receiving your animation to passing it on to the next participant. If for some reason you'd like to extend this to 7 days, PM me showing proof of progress and/or a reason why. Please feel free to refuse to participate next even if you signed up for that place if you can't animate for some reason on that time.

You can animate more than once, but those who haven't animated/have animated less get priority if they wish to animate.

The theme we have decided on is a space theme. Within this, different planets will have their own sub-theme and be the main area of focus within the animation. Transitions between different planets must also be animated, although not every participant has to animate their own planet.

An example of how this will work:

Kellawgs animates opening sequence showing first planet.

Zesty animates with the planet shown as the setting. The theme is say, an ice covered planet with ice-martian creatures. He animates a stickman sliding on ice with a friendly ice-alien and then passes the joint on.

Sir Bombastic chooses to continue animating with this planet's theme, and animates an evil ice-alien chasing the stickman and his friendly ice companion, and passed the joint onwards.

Sway animates the stickman using rocketboots to fly to a nearby planet with his ice friend. They land on a volcano planet but both burn up in a lava lake. The joint gets passed on.

Mufasa then animates a new stickman who is somehow fire resistant doing some fire dance.

Etc, etc. Of course it dosen't have to be as bizarre and crazy as I made it sound, I just feel that's the best way to explain things!

Thank you guys! I added a poll for the theme/concept question.

Definitely in this.

Sway wrote:First of all, do we want a theme/general concept, or would you like it to be kept freestyle like the previous joint? I myself like the freestyle...ness but many seemed to disagree and would have liked to see it follow something.

Freestyle!

Sway wrote:Secondly, how would you like the rotation of participants to work? I have a few ideas for it myself but I'd like to hear other people's first because I think mine may be over-complex.

Not sure lol.

Sway wrote:How many frames min/max should each participant do, or do you think there should be a time limit instead?

There should be like a time limit of a couple days.

I tottaly vote for a theme. You guys should go look at the first joint and try to narrate and explain what's going on. It's freaking crazy xD
Whatever goes through tho, count me in!

Thanks guys so much for setting this off to a quick start!

It seems the majority is for a theme/concept right now. I won't call off the poll yet but it is still worth putting some ideas out for a theme/concept. It has to be something ongoing, obviously, and something that still allows freedom around it. I myself am dry for ideas at the moment, but we need something very creative and original!

Guys you know the way the first joint had no plot.. it was still good but could have done with a bit more of a story. I think this joint shouldn't have a plot but each part should follow up properly to the next.

I'm in...I'd really like more than one part for this :3

For the theme...I think we shouldnt have one.In my opinion the theme would kind of a pain to follow through the entire joint so just keep it freestyle.

For the rotation...hmmm just go by the order in which people sign for it.As for multiple parts just randomly put the person's name multiple times in the list.

Frame limit....ehh...I would say about 50 minimum and a maximum...I wouldnt really put a maximum because I think the longer the part the better :P

Yes, that was such a pain. Some people would really put in a lot of effort trying to get the joint back on track, and then someone would just animate something completely random and pull it down again.

Stickid mentioned a cool idea. He said a space theme would be cool where the stickmen travels to different planets.

There should be a time limit. That way, people don't take forever and the joint stops.
Don't be afraid of failure. Be afraid of not trying.
