Oblivion, a portal has recently come (back) under discussion, but at the moment it is pretty much impossible. The cost of a custom portal would be in the clouds. :/

What about advertisements? I'm pretty sure ads could cover a big part, if not all of the costs for a portal.

Chimaera doesn't like the idea of advertisements. I wouldn't mind though, if it brought back the portal. Even Google has ads (thumbsup)
