STIFF!!! I liked your last one but I wouldn't use droidz and maybe if you have very detailled sticks it gets a bit harder because with simple once it always looks good. The gun test was cool and the other ani with the gun was also cool but it looked a bit weird when the ground came up because it just suddenly was up... O yeah, ps: I WANNA SEE BLOOD!!!! (just advice, cause it looks really cool). When you look at my thread and you see the blood test: I used just lines were the bullet went in (dark red) and in the back of his head a had a circle (dark red) and a squashed cirle (normal red, to make it look a bit more natural)

Hey I like your animations. They have good qualities such as how well you made them loop but the bad quality is obviously the stiffness. They are very stiff. But I liked your newest one. I liked the effect where it zooms in on the hand. Keep up the good work!

Wow , your newest with the sword is really cool. but work some more on the blood, cause it didn't look very real, but the effect of the sword was awesome

well, your anis need more basics, running walking, bla bla bla. but first work on easing and flowness. make your anis look realistic and smooth. low-high beginner. on the grenade one, i liked the little 3-d part, i might try that......

Nice stuff, i like the effects on the grenade. It looks really good.

They're a bit stiff though. Work on adding more frames in, and easing a LOT at the start. A good way to practise is to get a circle, and move it from one side of the screen to the other, easing like mad. Try and play it on the fastest speed and make it look good on that. Its sorta how i learnt. :)

Hmm...I dunno if it's just my internet connection, Imageshack or something else, but the animations seem slower and choppier. Sorry if it's actually just the uploading, but yeah, the smoothness more.

When you're saving your anim as a .gif, put the top number 6 and the botto 1/2 at the control panel before saving. It should come out like you see it as a .piv then.

And try using Illegal link instead of Imageshack, that way if you want you can have the animations directly on your post.

Yo,

Everyone is saying 'stiffness', but no one is really explaining it.
Stiffness is where the stickman only moves a little bit at a time.

If you imagine yourself standing still, you still have your heartbeat and your breathing going on. So you're still moving.

If you move EVERY joint in EVERY frame, your stiffness will slowly disappear.

Med beginner for now.

Well, you seem to have a grasp on movement and things but you still need to work on stuff.

Ok, easing.

Your animations are quite choppy, which is entirely due to the fact of the standard of easing used.

|-|--|---|--|-| |- Frame - = Pixels moved

So, imagine it as starting a car. It goes slow as it starts, but gradually gains speed, then slows down again to change gear.

This should get rid of the choppiness.

SMOOTHNESS

Make your animations smooth, this will make your aniamtions better and more bearable.

You shold spend more time on your aniamtions and not rush them. Just do a frame and make sure that it is the best you can get it.

Apart from that you seem ok.

Low-beginner, but expect that to go up, as I see potential.
