Here's a Q&A to tell what's the hap, homies....
Q) Liek wtflol?
A) A good question. This will be a place to post animations. But they will be animations based on certain themes.
Q) Yea but nubcake, you tried this with AOTM/AOTF, Pivot Wars, and god knows what else. IT WILL FAIL!
A) I now know why they all failed. It was too much like hard work running a competition constantly. Always having to make/find prizes, and eventually, I lost interest, like always.
Q) So why won't this fail?
A) Because this isn't a competition. This is just somewhere to find an idea to animate. Or to practice, or to just have fun.
Q) Oh ok. So, how's it going to work exactly?
A) I, or my helpers, will set up a Pivoting Practice Thread every now and then. I'm not gonna keep a strict routine, because that is another ingredient that led to failure before. Each time we set up a PP, it will be of a different Theme. All you have to do is animate the theme if you can be arsed. Then you can post it in the Thread if you want. It is not a competition. Just practice and fun. There is also no deadline. The most current PP will be stickied. But you can post in older ones if you like. So YOU CAN BUMP OLDER PPs.
Q) Oh so no strings attached. I like. Who are the helpers then?
A) For now, just my nubcake Werez. But I will appoint more if they are interested : )
Q) Kcul. So finally, what's this PP's Theme?
A) See Title or below vv
Pivot Practice #1
THEME: Power Throw
Explanation: Animate a stick(s) throwing something/anything. The key element to this is to get a real feeling of power behind the throw. I think this is good to practice, because it can easily be transferred to fighting, with power punches and the like.
